Exercise Perks: The Hidden Benefits Of Staying Fit
We all know that exercise, especially weight-lifting will make you bigger, faster and stronger. But a lot of people aren't aware of the hidden benefits of exercise. Here's some valuable things you'll most likely gain as you transform you're body.
Confidence: Oh
yeah, as you shed the flab and muscle up I guarantee you'll be walking
a little taller. Let's face it, looking good feels good. The better you
feel about your self, the more confident you'll become. A lot of human
interaction is on the subconscious level. If you're sending out the
message that you're a healthy, fit, disciplined person, people are
going to take notice. Better Mood: A few
years ago a study was conducted at Duke University which found that
exercise alone was as effective for treating major depression as
anti-depressants. In fact, after the study a long-term follow up was
conducted, and the doctors concluded that exercise alone was the most
effective solution, because subjects who were on regimented exercise
plans were less likely to fall back into depression. Now I'm not
saying you have major depression, but if you're like most people, you
probably have some days you're down in the dumps. Maybe you're even the
type who's highly emotional and gets stressed out easy. As this medical
study supports, exercise is probably the best way to take your erratic
mood and put it on even keel. Luck: Now
hear me out on this one. Luck is a very interesting thing. Some people
tend to claim they're just destined to be immortally "unlucky".
However, the truth is that the world has a very mysterious way of
rewarding those that are deserving. Here's a great quote from Thomas
Jefferson on the subject, -"I'm a great believer in luck and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it." Look, when you are transforming your body you are doing it through discipline, dedication and commitment.
All of these attributes are very positive things. When you're a
positive person and you have positive action, positive things will come
your way. It's that simple. You'll get that promotion you were hoping
for, or maybe the girl/guy who blew you off before now wants to go out
on a date. You might be skeptical, but its the truth. Be disciplined
and just see what happens. Really, as you can see, there is no
reason not to start working out and becoming committed to staying
healthy. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You'll
transform not only your body, but you're entire life. Come up with your
workout plan, be determined , stick to it and take note of all the
exciting and positive things that come your way.
