Hoodia Patch

The Hoodia Patch is the latest hoodia weight loss product that works like nicotine patches - you attach them to your back, shoulder, leave them and forget it. But, do they really work ? Find out here

The Hoodia Patch is a new weight loss product that uses Transdermal Technology (trans = thru, dermal = skin), which is the penetration of ingredients through the skin.  It's the same idea as using a nicotine patch to help you stop smoking - you attach it to your back, hip or shoulder and let it go to work. It is supposed to make you feel less hungry during the day, and you’ll start to lose unwanted pounds when you eat less food. The theory goes like this - digesting pills can take hours to reach your system and can lose strength during this time. Ingredients administered through the skin are absorbed through the body immediately and evenly.Transdermal  or patch technology is already used for hormone replacement therapy, smoking cessation, pain relief and so on.  It uses a time-released mechanism so that a small amount of the active ingredient is released into the blood circulation system throughout the day.If the patch comes off or gets wet, it must be replaced with another one. Ideally a person should be able to use one Hoodia patch per day, replacing it every 24 hours.  Of course, if you are replacing these things all the time, it will drive up the total monthly cost for you.  The problem is that there is no scientific evidence that the product works, or is safe.  The contents of each patch often contain 500 mg of Hoodia Gordonii stem and 2 mg of Guarana Extract (a stimulant).  But, how pure is the product and can you be sure that it actually contains these ingredients ?  Of course, there are always testimonials of people that have tried it and it worked for them, but you have to think for a moment ...For one thing, real Hoodia Gordonii pills are superior to the patch because they contain either the same or higher levels of the plant extract, or contain other natural helpful ingredients like magnesium and green tea extract.  More importantly, the pill form has been shown to work in scientific tests and in South Africa where it originated from. It is from the Kalahari desert, home of the San People. These Bushmen, who live off the land, would cut off part of the hoodia stem and eat it to ward off hunger and thirst during nomadic hunting trips. That has been going on for hundreds of years. So, what you want is 100% pure South African Hoodia from the Kalahari Desert and certified as such.  It is licensed by the Western Cape Conservation Authority of South Africa and is certified to be authentic. There are two certified documents required to prove the authenticity of pure South African Hoodia - they are the C.I.T.E.S Certificate and the Analytical Report - you can see copies of these reports at the website provided below.Do those that sell the Patch offer this proof that their product is pure ?  Not that we could find.If you want to try the Hoodia patch to help achieve your weight loss goals, it may work for you, but you might want to try the pill form instead, to be on the safe side.  Visit our Hoodia Gordonii Plus page for more information.Be sure to talk this over with your doctor if you have any questions or concerns.
